A Note from SOLVE!

SOLVE’s annual Beach and Riverside Cleanup welcomed almost 3,000 volunteers in litter cleanup, invasive species removal, and natural area maintenance!

Volunteers removed over 47,000 pounds of trash from their local communities and natural areas! Crab pots, couches, microplastics, and everything inbetween were disposed of through the support of amazing haulers across the state.

Over 22,000 sq. ft. of area was cleared of invasive species, preventing these plants from competing with our beatiful, Oregon native plants.

We at SOLVE just want to say thank you for all of your efforts. We hope that you had a fun event this year and that SOLVE was able to make your coordination efforts easier. Enjoy the rest of your fall and please give yourself some praise – for all you’ve done for your community and our planet!
